The Griffith family introduces themselves

About us

Our 3-generation family took over the Beachhotel Sahlenburg in January 2023. Before this move, we successfully ran a combination of a small hotel and a restaurant near the Black Forest. Our roots are multi-national – Welsh, Canadian, and German.

The Beachhotel will be managed by Lee and Marei Griffith together with their daughter and her husband Kirsten and Jason Griffith-Parsons and their children Brynden and Tobin.

Our philosophy

We have spent years travelling the world for business and pleasure – and we know what we appreciated when we were guests. We want to offer our guests an oasis of relaxation, warmth and the feeling of being personally appreciated.

After many years of travel we know how important it is to be able to recover and relax whether on a business trip or a holiday; so we will try to make your stay with us as relaxing, personal and stress free as possible.
